About Aliya Abdullah, NP

Aliya Abdullah is a nurse practitioner specializing in rheumatology. Originally from Dallas, TX, she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas Woman’s University.

With a strong background in oncology, including work with both adult and pediatric patients, as well as women’s health services, Aliya brings valuable experience to her current role. She has also had the privilege of serving as clinical faculty, mentoring nursing students and helping to shape the next generation of healthcare providers.

Aliya takes a holistic approach to patient care, focusing not only on treating the condition but also on promoting overall health and wellness. She views each patient as a whole person, not just their diagnosis, and is committed to improving their quality of life.

Outside of work, Aliya enjoys spending time with her husband and their mini Goldendoodle, exploring Houston’s food scene, and traveling to new places to experience different cultures and cuisines. She is excited to continue working alongside her patients to enhance their health and well-being.
